In previous posts, I’ve suggested that Lutfur Rahman probably needs to be careful about who he chooses as his friends.
It’s quite possible that the likes of millionaire businessman Shiraj Haque and Mohammed Mahee Jalil Ferdhaus, the convicted insurance fraudster who owns the popular Bangladeshi satellite TV station Channel S, which, separately, is a major fundraiser for the East London Mosque, will want a return for their support.
The latter, especially, seems to court, er, how shall we put it, the occasional spot of trouble.
In the early hours of Wednesday, May 25, Mahee was allegedly abducted leaving his own office in Walthamstow, then blindfolded and taken across London before being strung up by the ankles and apparently beaten to a pulp and scolded with boiling water.
After being tortured, he was allegedly later dumped on the North Circular and given £30 to find a cab to take him home and then on to hospital, where I’m told he still remains. Mahee believes his abductors were thugs hired by a business rival.
Admittedly, this Kray-style account – it is a curious must-read here – does come from the website of the East London News, which is an offshoot of that well-known purveyor of accuracy, the London Bangla, but the police are involved.
Soon after the alleged incident, the police issued the following statement:
“A 38 year old man remains in an east London hospital in a serious but stable condition following an alleged assault on Wednesday 25th May in Walthamstow E17. Enquiries by Waltham Forest Police are continuing.”
Since then, a 41-year-old man from Windermere Gardens, Ilford, has been arrested and charged with alleged abduction. He appeared at Waltham Forest Magistrates’ Court on May 30 and was remanded in custody. (I have his name, but for legal reasons, I’m not publishing it at this stage – anyone wanting it can contact me by email).
I hope Lutfur’s THEOs, the sub-plastic policemen he he employs at great expense, are putting in extra VIP protection training these days…

I know of this Channel S guy and his dodgy goings on, but one thing I have to correct you on is the claim that he is a fund raiser for east London mosque, you are correct his channel allows the mosques team to hold a fund raising night one of the 30 nights during Ramadhan….. Just like he allows 29 other mosques from around the UK and sometimes abroad on the other nights.
I’m making this point simply because of Jim Fitzpatrick making a fuss about a wedding he attended at east London mosque, he has managed to get you and gilligan on board to berate this specific Mosque.
Comment what you wish about that last statement, but please be a responsible and un-biased so called reporter, blogger and write about ‘the whole’ picture.

I was very surprised that an egotistical man like Gilligan would have made a mistake and had to retract. So egotistical in fact, he has to sockpuppet to make people think he is always correct.
If there is a story, then right about it, but make sure you write both side and/or do not leave one side weakened so people lean towards your view.
Lutfur, East London Mosque, Muslims, IFE, it’s starting to get boring.
Stories such as Lutfur giving a character statement for a sex pest is something that should be highlighted and show the Mayors incompetence of not checking things out, but Ted/Gilligan always find some link back to the Mosque or the people that voted for him when it’s anything to do with the Mayor.
They need to finally get it through their heads that it’s not the Mosques fault Lutfur was voted in, that was because of the backlash and to stick ‘two fingers’ up at people like Ted/Gilligan for hounding him and also the Labour party not replacing Lutfur with the second choice instead, another incompetent 3rd choice candidate.

Great Story. Just to let you know this is also the Mahee, who introduced car hiring for small companies to Tower Hamlets, where all the young people are killing themselves to hire cars, and now goes on TV acting like a saint. Also had a hand in the First SOlutions company which ran off with a wad of money from innocent people. Where they not based in the East London Mosque.
Firstly I used to be one of this young kids who used to hire cars and there are over 20 companies in the borough who hire out cars to kids, I am 30 now and been hiring since the age of 18 and never did I need to hire from the bloke.
Secondly, the Mosque has a business wing specifically built to hire out to businesses independent from the main function of the Mosque to raise money from the rent to keep the Mosque going.
So I suggest you go and get your facts straight before commenting just like some of the reporters should.

As for a Mosque not undertaking any business transactions, what planet you live on, how would a Mosque costing millions to build sustain itself, other smaller mosques can survive through donations but the amount of services delivered from east London mosque is vast.
And the last point that proves you just listen to general rubbish reporters write is the boring statement that IFE own the Mosque and that IFE want to run the UK. The only money the mosque made from first solution is their quarterly rent charge.
Have you heard about Way to Work, the free employment service offered to ALL in tower hamlets, run from the very same building as IFE and first solution or ISAP unfortunately now closed due to funding cuts who helped increase the attendance levels in primary/secondary schools in the borough based…. guess where… Yep that same mosque, or the other charitable organisations like Muslim aid and food for thought are they making any profit for the mosque.

Now these are all rough estimates but going back to the 3 million Muslims in the UK against the 55 or so million NON-MUSLIMS, how on earth can any reporter with a brain, or person for that matter think that IFE could turn London, the home counties or the rest of the UK and universe into Muslims and create a sharia state????
Forget the universe but go back to Tower Hamlets which is is borough, believe it or not, Muslims are the minority can turn the majority into burkha wearing, beard growing Mahi Channel S loving fanatics.
