I thought I’d do my public duty and share the Rabina4Mayor canvassing campaign diary that has been sent to me. The Limhouse ward organising meeting at 7pm tomorrow in the “Limehouse portakabin” sounds fun. If any other candidate would like this service, do get in touch. Thanks. UPDATE
Uh oh…just had this Tweet:
The word brewery springs to mind.
Interesting that Rabena Khan’s election material includes a personal endorsement from The Despicable Rahman (oh how appropriate that title seems now!) It seems that, despite him being damned so thoroughly in a court of law, he is still not ‘toxic’ and Khan is clearly the son(daughter)-of-Lutfur.
Is there no shame whatsoever?
Tim.
I’m more concerned that picture of Lutfur Rahman used in Ms Khan’s leaflet, is a picture that was often used by the council for official council business. It is also a picture that Rahman himself describes as one taken at the Town Hall. Not forgetting that London24.com is giving it the following credit: (Picture: Tower Hamlets Council)
I am guessing that we (the electorate) paid for it, and Ms. Khan feels that it is hers to use. Not dissimilar to the documented distribution methods of the leaflet.
However, I disagree with the update on the tweet: It cannot hurt the rest of the political landscape if Ms. Khan are stood outside empty schools. However, will she bring Rahman along? And will he have (more) candy under his coat for those willing to submit to his ideologies of fairness, openness and democracy – if so, please give the schools another week of holidays…
Thanks for the info t-by-t
I shall add it to my reading list for digestion with the rest of such before popping my vote
Keep carrying on t-by-t, you have no idea how much we appreciate you!
KP
I’m a fan of yours as well, KP. The way you’ve been treated by the ECB is disgraceful
Oh Abdul. I was all set to go take photos next week of them waiting at [locked] school gates. You spoilsport.
Coooeeee – Have I tuned into the wrong blog? Is this the Rabina Khan show?
What is it they say – There’s no such thing as bad publicity!
I suspect that Glyn is Glyn Robbins former Respect in Tower Hamlets and Sybil is Sybil Cock who was a long time Tower Hamlets Socialist Rapists Party member. I remember her as a squatter in the seventies in Jubilee St. The SWP was the International Socialists then and lots of their members were squatting including the daughter of the Prime Minister of Malta Yana Mintoff.
The IS/SWP Central Committee decided that squatting was too hippie and not working class so they ordered all members to get rented accommodation. There was a near mutiny at the thought of paying rent so the matter was dropped and the comrades kept squatting!
http://www.glynrobbins.wordpress.com/2015/05/16/rabina-khan-for-tower-hamlets-mayor/ Can anyone make sense of this? I know he’s a Trot but this is la la land.
Look at the photo. I would imagine taken with a camera phone which none of them had shortly after this was taken when the group had expanded to sixty!
Love the tweet!
School term dates

Maybe somebody could ask Rabina about the failure of Tower Hamlets Housing as reported in the Wharf?
“East London councils among the 10 worst boroughs in the capital for meeting social housing targets”
“Tower Hamlets met 63% of its 3-year target”
http://www.wharf.co.uk/news/property/east-london-councils-among-10-9295644
What’s the point, she is a compulsive liar with the morals of an alley cat who will say whatever it takes to get ahead.
She wood sell her soul to the devil, and probably has many times over during her illustrious, and hopefully short lived, political career.
Come on Tower Hamlets, get up and vote at these elections! Or stop complaining when we end up with more of these racist thieves in office!
Could you expand on the moral part of this GR? I know Lutfur is extremely interested in discussions of a Ugandan nature with young Bangladeshi lady councillors in return for favours like council flats to be rented out so perhaps this is one of those situations.
Morals? I’d guess that all of THF are unfamiliar with the term.
Rabina is right up there.
I think looking at the figures as presented are a bit misleading to be honest.
You have to view them within the context of the level of social housing the borough provide already and with available land resources/ council control of them to give a balanced picture
I think there are two issues here shadow. Comparisons aren’t valid when specific claims for 4000 actually built affordable social housing units during Rabina Khan’s term as cabinet member for housing are made. No wriggle room there. Even Glynn Robbins has his doubts about this one!
The second issue is one that I constantly have arguments about with wannabe politicians, usually Labour. Where exactly is this housing to be put and who is going to pay for it.
Unless permission is given to build on the green belt and public parks or to return to compulsory purchase orders for privately owned land then all of the claims are false. Mind you the people making them also talk about ” moving forward, cutting edge, inclusion, multicultural society at ease with itself ” and similar drivel so no wonder.
There is brownfield land available to build upon, question is why does it not happen and who is getting the money for the constantly revamped “Masterplans”?
There was a plan for Ailsa Street drawn up in 2002 – a large site by the river occupied, at the time, by a lot of scrap dealers and such like businesses who were operating illegally without planning permission
A development brief was published in Octobe 2003:-http://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/idoc.ashx?docid=df513a9d-f5cd-47a0-9d05-0c1bc2cc500f&version=-1
The council talked about implementation within 2 to5 years and not a brick has been laid since
The development brief provided lots of photos of the land usage as was – and this is the “it-could-only-happen-in-towerhamlets” part – these photos have been used by businessesas evidence that they are entitled to planning permission on ‘suis generis’ grounds that they have been operating there for over ten years. The council had no alternative but to grant such permissions!
There have been at least three Masterplans in the meanwile all of which must have been funded by the council. Who is authorising the money and how much has been spent to get to where we are on this?
(Hey we haven’t done anything on Ailsa Street yet – quick commission another master plan!) – it would never happen (?)
The council refused to answer questions raised under FOI on this sugeesting that I come down and look through the files myself
Trouble is I have a busines to run – I got council charges to pay…
Hang on in there…
KP
I agree with you Dave here.
The claims of the council providing 4000 new social /affordable homes is not true, as I have stated before the majority of these are provided by the planning gain 106 housing from new private developments.
The bigger issue is as you have stated where and how is the land going to be found to provide new social housing. The options in tower hamlets are fast running out with most undeveloped suitable sites already gone.
The likelyhood for building on parks and other open space in tower hamlets is a non starter, as is the wider question of building on the green belt elsewhere in London were this exists.
The only options in the long term are going to be comprehensive redevelopment of existing land this being in the form of and controversial decisions to knock down and redevelop existing low density housing and replace with high density housing developments This option with all the issues of decanting the existing tenants and leaseholders and requiring compulsory purchase orders not a p[pleasant prospect for any party/ person in political control
The issue of CPO’s for private land face even greater challenges to success given the current and former governments views on pushing these ideas into legislation and ultimately practice.
In answer to your point about knocking down existing Council estates. One Housing Group are going to knock down the Barkentine, St Johns, Samuda and Kingsbridge estates on the Isle of Dogs over 15 years. Will replace 2,027 units with 8,906 units making it the biggest development in TH history. They are trying to rush it through this year but even TH planning officers are saying that is too quick
The Lutfur and Rabina campaign (for that is what they called themselves) were busy sending out text messages for a meeting in St Dunstan’s Ward on Wednesday night last at Dell “Centre” on Mile End Road.
How they got hold of peoples’ mobile phone numbers is an interesting question.
Many of you in the area may also of course wish to reconsider your choice of private hire cars in the future….
That’s a Data Protection issue and can be raised with the Information Commissioner. Using people’s private telephone numbers without their consent breaches one of the acts around data protection. I’ll need to go and look up which one.
Maybe the politicians involved would like to look at the damages which have just been paid out people in the High Court for invasion of their privacy?
Of course not having a political party behind you means that it’s all down to personal liability……… i.e. it’s their bank account which pays damages for invasion of privacy at the end of the day.
Same goes for the cab firms which have passed on people’s private numbers.
Not sure whether this is relevant here Ted, but I came across this article when posted a link to it by a friend.
http://www.eastlondonadvertiser.co.uk/news/politics/move_to_sack_ex_mayor_lutfur_rahman_s_17_tower_hamlets_councillors_1_4080927
What bearing will this have on Khan’s election campaign?
Tim.
Well looking at the campaign diary listed, if true, then the RK election team certainly has got its act together, The strategy looks good and is one I would have taken if I was disposed to put my hat in the ring.
The level in terms of numbers of supporters I witnessed at the Water Lilly rally certainly made me aware that Biggs and the rest of the candidates will have a hard battle to win against her with this amount of potential ground workers.
As of the present I have not seen any of the other candidates campaigns matching this and its a worry one cannot ignore with such strategies and numbers of people prepared to go out to canvass and leaflet
Just noticed the term dates posted by YCMIU
HaHa Well they may not have got their act that well together with it being half Term from the 25-29 May
But this is a minor failure on her campaign teams part
This would be great except it is half term next week!!
Sent from my 4G Ready Samsung Galaxy S4 on Three
I’ve still not seen a leaflet from anybody……
Am I just being naive, or is hanging around school gates canvassing parents a little in poor taste?
It makes me wish my kids were still at school so I could call the police when these idiots begin harassing me, or are found loitering at the gates!
Perhaps they have other motives……;)
They will feel the sharp end of my tongue should they approach me at the tube station. Though I doubt if I’m the demographic they’re plumping for!
Oh, and I’ve heard about Lutfur’s rousing speech at the closed down Calders Wharf. The usual diatribe about democracy 😂😂😂😂😂😂 , and we’re all racists 😂😂😂😂😃😃😃 and they are just the poor downtrodden hardworking honest folk of Tower Hamlets 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 – I think I may have had an accident due the the laughter!!!!
I wonder who gave Lutfur and Rabina the keys? Using former Lbth premises for their election meetings? I hope they paid full whack, and have receipts …..
When will this crook learn to shut up and move on? It looks like the recent judgment against him still hasn’t sunk in. No wonder his cronies are fans of Hitler, he never knew when to quit either. I wonder if a similar fate awaits Loony Lutfur? Hung by his own petard? Inshallah!
Yes Biggs was canvassing at school gates too. I wonder if he was there under the influence of Lord Janner.
What are you trying to say? I know that vicious rumours about Biggs were spread at the last Mayoral elections. None of dignify by repeating.
No doubt to THF machine will be in full swing doing the same to benefit it’s prodigal daughter!
Let’s face it, they’re already up to their own tricks.
I was responding to your comment which was full of “vicious rumours”. Hypocrite.
Which vicious rumours would they be? Pray tell….
I think there’s a huge difference between stating how things look, and starting whispering campaigns which you know are untrue to attempt to discredit a politician and favour another.
Also, it’s not just my opinion, look at the recent ruling.
This is what you said:
“Am I just being naive, or is hanging around school gates canvassing parents a little in poor taste?
It makes me wish my kids were still at school so I could call the police when these idiots begin harassing me, or are found loitering at the gates!
Perhaps they have other motives……;)”
What did you mean by other motives? And I also pointed out Biggs did the same. You know perfectly well what you were implying here. Was this highlighted in ruling?
You then say “No wonder his cronies are fans of Hitler, he never knew when to quit either.” Is this what the judgment quantified? Or are you smearing everyone who supports Lutfur because of one idiot and his support of hitler.
I doubt your comments would be supported by Biggs I am sure of that. I have met people campaigning for him and you sure should join them. You may well learn some manners. Nothing but praise for them.
I was making the point that because of Janner should people stop supporting a labour candidate? By your standards of stereotyping groups and parties, they should. I disagree.
Sorry, I thought schools were for education, not for spouting your political views. Whatever they are!
Also, I’m referring to Ahad Miah and his vile Hitler lovin posts. Or did I make it up? Perhaps I was the so called hacker who posted the mysterious pics and statements on his Facebook and Twitter accounts?
Funny how it’s always someone else’s fault for others’ shortcomings and stupidity.
Silly me, it must be a conspiracy!
But Biggs canvassed outside schools and you don’t have an issue with that. Makes you a hypocrite.
Like I said you’re using one Ahad Miah to tarnish a whole group. So I ask again, can I put you in the same bracket as Lord Janner since you support labour?
In the same bracket as Lord Janner? Please spell out your assertion? Trying to cloud the point with such suggestions really shows you for what you are, a true Lutfurite! Through and through! I’m surprised you’ve not called me a nasty racist Tory.
As I said, schools are not for politics, and disagree with any political canvassing at their gates. No matter which party! Though having read this website, I was shocked at the ruthless targeting.
In terms of Ahad Miah. He stood as a THF candidate around the time his unfortunate comments were posted online, on Facebook and Twitter, for all the world to see. Yet those in THF never asked for them to be removed. They did, however, take him on a nice jolly to Greece, against fascism amongst other things.
What is it they say about being judged by the company you keep?
Try and keep to the argument.
You keep dodging my questions. No point arguing with a brick wall. As for “racist nasty Tory”, your words not mine.
If I could work out what they were, no doubt I’d respond. Like you say, it’s like arguing with a brick wall.
If I asked you your favourite could, you’d respond with Tuesday.
Oh do sober up. Not making any sense now.
Make that favourite colour btw, not could.
How come you only ever seem to respond to my posts by the way Justice? Won’t the others get jealous?
Yes they may. I shall stop. Enjoy your weekend 👍
Oh sober up? I had a feeling that you would try to get personal when your riduculous arguments proved merritless.
The Council says that political meetings are not allowed on Council premises during pre-election periods.
Ex council premises, though I bet the landlord didn’t sanction this meeting……
Calders Wharf was given to Eastend Homes in 2006 without any paperwork at all. Was not listed in any stock transfer documents. There was a 30year lease to a resident association that ran out in 2010. So Eastend Homes know how valuable the land is.
The person that runs it for them stood as THF, candidate in Island Gardens Ward. Also another THF. Candidate in same ward sits on Estate Management board.. Thats will answer the question of why they got to use it
Gulam Robanni is on the board of East End Homes. He is also Rabina’s election agent.
And guess who put him there?
I have leafletted close to a school at closing time, it is a great way of meeting people as long as you do not get in peoples way and are not too close to the gates. The kids like it is because it is something different and they normally come up to you wanting a leaflet (they adore balloons). Not so sure about canvassing but if people want to ask you a question then that is great.
If you want politicians to engage with people then we need to find a way of meeting people especially when so many people live in tower blocks which we prefer not to canvas in.
I disagree entirely with canvassing at school gates. Using balloons to attract kids, who in tern pester parents is also wrong in my opinion.
I guess at least you say ‘close to schools’ which isn’t as bad.
I suppose it also depends on how pushy the canvassers are also.
Sorry, I still think it’s wrong, Ragardless of your politics.
The Grim Reaper. Leafletting and canvassing are two different things. Leafletting is holding out leaflets and seeing if people will take them or posting through letter boxes literature to be read later. Canvassing is trying to engage people in conversation at the front door or on the street. We saw today Liberal Democrats entering apartment blocks on the island to canvas which we wont do.
As for balloons, they are too expensive to hand out many of them but politics should also be fun. In my ward last May the turn out was only 36% how else do we get people aware of elections?
I suppose a lot do depends on the manner it’s conducted in.
I saw what happened at the last mayoral elections, and was appalled. Huge swathes of Lutfurtites, blocking access and harassing people on their way in and out. Cars of male youths driving by shouting out of their windows and honking their horns.
All with the pointless police doing bugger all to stop any of it.
I’m just smiling at this
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/may/22/eric-pickles-knighthood-former-cabinet-minister
Peter Golds has to Sir Bernard Hogan Howe and has a response from Paul Blows East End Homes
Httpps://twitter.com/going4golds/status/602062615188262912
Would you expect anything less from these crooks? I mean Rahman and Khan, and probably a large proportion of the former THF shower.
Well done Cllr Golds. It’ll be interesting to see if Hogan-Howe pulls his finger out, especially following recent events.
Oh well done Peter Golds
Now let’s see what the Police do this time……..
I think the only other thing I would have done is make sure that all the letters were also copied to Barry Quirk (CEO of LB Lewisham)
As stated in the Paul Rowsell letter to Stephen Halsey
Finger trouble
Rania Khan’s wikipedia page has been deleted. About time
Almost true…
https://en.wiki2.org/wiki/Rania_Khan
“Khan’s mother, Lutfa Begum, is a nurse, former officer in the Bangladesh Army”
There’s a story there
Only that Lutfa Begum was a a dreadful Councilor. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in this respect. She held office for one term before returning to Bangladesh.
Both mother and daughter were Respect. Anyone remember that organisation? I know it was a long time ago.
Yes, it’s one of the 4 parties that Rabina has been a member of in the last 5 years.
It’s half term. What’s the poiint of leafleting at schools from 26th May to 29th May. Seems to be a well organised campaign!
Is Mr Rabina Khan (Aminur Rashid Khan) politically active? Is he a member of IFE?
Does anyone know more about him.
Bank holiday Monday, through the letterbox comes Rabina’s leaflet,or five to be exact.Picture of the usually po faced Rabid trying to look charming/statesman like but just looking constipated. With the usual photo of Lutfer, reminiscence of those newspaper ads for hair transplants.
We are told she is a author of childrens books.Perhaps this leaflet should have began with once upon a time considering the tall tales contained within.Basically a rehash of Rahmans previous boasts, with no future promises.
She tells us she delivered four thousand new homes. This stat has already been discredited, so no need for further comment. This tireless campaigner saved 2,5000 families from the bedroom tax.Conveniently forgetting she and Rahman imposed high rent increases every year.
Again like the disgraced Mayor we get the ludicrous claim they provided £168 million for the decent homes programme. This money was given by the last Labour government and was all ways destined for the borough even by the Tory coalition. If there was the slightest doubt it would not arrive, any credit for securing it goes to MP Rusandra Ali.
Rahmen or Khan considering the current allegations about the way this money is being spent should be wary of fostering these rubbishy claims on the electorate.Everyone knows huge sums of this money has been wasted, perfectly good boilers and fittings needlessly replaced etc.Vast amounts spent on advertising and staff who sole purpose seems to be to just pose with a clipboard. What of all those banners feartuing Rahman on the sides of the estates and the mailshot to every tenant with him claiming he provided this money. It all comes from the taxpayer.
Whether this money for his self promotion came from the council tax or Decent homes budget these millions have been wasted and not spent wisely.Other claims include delivering 2,5000 new jobs. These if any are needless council posts.Nepotism is still rife at the town hall.Got a friend or relative who wants a job, don’t worry we will make and create one up.Just remember most of the council tax goes on the retirement pension pots of these council idlers.FACT.
Delivered umpteen THEOs, we all know what a waste they are.She tackled anti social behavior in TH and reduced crime.Just walk down any high street or local road and you can clearly see the yobs of tjhis borough are allowed to wander and destruct at will, with no action from the council or police. What a load of crud.
All true Tam. In terms of anti social behaviour I went to a hustings meeting just before the election at a community hall on the Collingwood Estate which although it is decribed as being in Bethnal Green is nearer to Whitechapel.
I saw three groups of Bangladeshi youths within yards of the hall openly dealing drugs while inside all of the electoral hopefuls were explaining what they were doing to tackle the very behaviour that was going on outside.
Neither the Council, nor Rabina, has built a single new home during her period in office. All the so-called ‘affordable’ homes have been built using GLA money and built by developers.
Not according to the Socialist Rapists Party Jay Kay. http://www.socialistworker.org.uk/art/40622/Rabina+Khans+anti+austerity+message+welcome+in+Tower+Hamlets
Can any of the whites be identified? They probably all come from outside the area.
DCLG figures up to the end of 2014 show TH built none. The lies in Rabina’s election leaflet are the same ones peddled by the lying, corrupt Rahman. As to her other claims:
Decent Homes: Was a national programme introduced in 2000, some 10 years before Rabina became cabinet member for housing. it is paid for by the government, not by the council.
Education: Schools started improving in TH in the late 90’s. Long before Rahman and his corruptly elected colleagues got into office. Rabina has done nothing to improve jobs, entry to further or higher education which is where the help is needed.
The University bursary was only for up to 400 students. In 2013 only around 300 were awarded highlighting her failure to deal with progression from schools.Around 800 students in TH start Uni each year.
Youth Services budget has been cut by around 65% – more than twice the national average.
The EMA was worth over £1,000. Rahman’s version was worth only £400.
The free school meals for infants was paid by the Government, no t the Council.
Jobs: TH has over 3,000 jobseekers aged 18-24. No other borough apart from Newham has over 3,000. Any jobs that have been created are low-paid, short term ones, such as those for the Olympics.
Community Safety: Crime is TH has increased. ASB rates in TH are the second highest in London after Westminster.
Health: Lunch club money has been cut and in some places withdrawn following the PwC report that shed some light on the corruption and mis-use of grant money.
She must be the biggest liar now the despicable Rahman has gone.
Rabina Khan is a compulsive liar and complete hypocrite. Like Uncle Lutfur, she would say or do anything to further her rotten cause and continue her crooked ways.
Hurry along and let’s chuck her in the slammer for her previous behaviour and crooked actions, favouring only one part of the community and festering bad feeling and waste for years. Lutfur and Alibor need a little holiday too.
Looks like the Trots can’t even give links. Go to the Socialist Worker site and it’s on that.
According to The Independent Galloway has announced his candidacy for London mayor. Can anyone find a link?
Try this: 5http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-32919400 or just Google George Galloway London mayor for any number of links. I had to check the date wasn’t April 1st.
Didn’t George Galloway only get some 8,567 votes in Bradford? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPM-9KXGPXU
He was well and truly beaten by Nazeen Shah, a woman who he slandered during the election in an atrocious way and who got some 20K votes
(19,977 votes if you want to be precise – that’s 11,410 votes more than GG).
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/womens-politics/11597512/Naz-Shah-I-pity-George-Galloway-for-being-so-desperate.html
Now that’s the sort of woman who commands genuine respect!
Galloway is nothing more than a self-obsessed preening publicist with a penchant for dressing up (who can forget the red catsuit and the purring!?); who just loves attention – and doesn’t like to admit he’s bald…….
George Galloway is possibly up there as one of the most despicable people this planet has ever produced. The hypocrisy, pandering to audiences to further his own career, the jumping on bandwagons…..if he told me the sky was blue, I’d have took out of the window, twice, then take a picture, then call a friend.
I read somewhere about him standing for Mayor to ‘curb City excess’? I bet few in the city have a salary even approaching his. Well, what he’s declared over the years anyway….
I wonder if he’ll be bleeding us
dry with his maximum claim on his resettlement grant after his laughable ejection from Parliament? I have a feeling he will be applying for the maximum version of this financial cushion, despite his additional income running into hundreds of thousands, probably for many years. Coupled with his poor attendance record, no wonder he was given the boot.
It’s unlikely Londoners will succumbe to his brand of loathsome slime.
Your card is marked You leotard wearing twat, now jog on! I hear Syria is nice this time of year!
Lutfa Begum’s time in the Bangladesh Army remains highly controversial in Bangladesh.
Why? Any info?
This is probably one of the best articles I’ve seen written about the fiefdom and fiasco of the ex-Mayor.
“The Rotten Borough Lutfur Rahman Built” by John Ware (June 2015 issue of Standpoint)
It exposes a number of ways used to corrupt the last election process (i.e it’s a more readable summary of the conduct of Rahman and Choudhury, why the Election was found to have been corrupted and what they were found guilty of at the Election Court).
Ted gets a nice mention – as does Peter Golds.
It takes apart the loony left very nicely. Shows them what they are.
Rabina Khan put in a disastrous performance on Bangla tv last night. She had far more speaking time than the Lib dem, tory and labour candidates and just ranted the whole time.
On the bright side if this corrupted elected woman becomes Mayor she will be totally powerless as the commissioners will remain and she will have no executive power at all
If she had far more time than the other candidates then they have just breached the rules re. what you can show on television during elections!
Cue another report to the Election Commissioners? I imagine Peter Golds already has the letter drafted!
Good point about the fact the Commissioners will not withdraw unless somebody is elected who they have confidence in.
Obviously ranting about Commissioners would not be a good place to start…..
@TEQ – Lets assume the Commissioners will be around for 5 years at least to keep the next mayor in check – only to show that they weren’t just after Lutfur. If this happens to be the case and with the new Mayor without executive powers, how can s/he make a change against these Commissioners?
Let’s be clear. The existence of the Commissioners puts a block on the Mayor determining things without reference to them.
They don’t stop normal operations in terms of a Mayor running a Council the way it should be run.
Of course the problem with a Mayoral candidate who has never been part of an administration which has conducted itself in a normal and proper manner might have some difficulty in knowing what to do!
John Biggs election Twitter feed is getting very interesting
https://twitter.com/johnbiggs4mayor
Looks like Labour have organised lots of support for leafleting and canvassing on the doorstep – judging from the photos of faces and places it’s looking like a credible campaign. I imagine it will only step up the closer it gets to the election date.
Rabina might like this tweet
And finally! BBC4 tomorrow 8pm The Secret History of Our Streets. How the whole thing started.
All candidates attended this afternoon’s disability hustings in Jack Dash House. All expect Rabina Khan who didn’t even bother to send apologies
Disgraceful
You sayin’ as a woman she can’t go to to more than one event a day? Surely women are s’pose to be able to multi-task, unless of course, …she is….Lutfur in disguise!
Voters, please Khan you bin legacy!

An Incontrovertible Truth.
When in January, 2007 and many months since all the elite Pundits and heavyweight Leadership right across the entire political spectrum were in Coma being confined and fully stuck in the ICU including the BNP Chief, Begum Khaleda Zia who remained stunned, fearful and speechless, not knowing what to say or do, I had to stand up and play a role to alert all concerned, shuttling from one TV Channel to another.
The time has come to play a similar role to save our community in Tower Hamlets and across the length and breadth of the entire United Kingdom from the mortal dangers of a sinister role of some money makers unwittingly abusing and polluting the political arena of Tower Hamlets on the occasion of 11June Mayoral Election .
You cannot play the Messianic Role of a Unifier taking the side of those disgruntled losers who tend to cling to a so called Kangaroo Court to dislodge the most celebrated Peoples’ Mayor with the most outstanding record of delivering in all key sectors setting a unique example of improvement unprecedented in the whole country.
The bandwagon of Rabina Khan cannot be halted by this kind of heinous role.
The people of Tower Hamlets will refuse to be amused or blackmailed by any kind of hypnotic hypocrisy .
Rabina has the courage and charisma to stand on her own uniquely glorious record and the voters of Tower Hamlets are not going to be diverted by any kind of false propaganda .
On the night of 11 June Rabina is going to make history (Insha Allah) by being elected as the First Executive Lady Mayor of Tower Hamlets.

@Shamsuddin Ahmed
Sounds plausible about Khan winning on the 11th of June, so does a visit to the High Court on the 12th of June to put her on the same “bill” that removed her mentor Lutfur Rahman – like your post, it is all speculation and opinions…
@Shamsiddin Ahmed – Bro, I thought Islam doesn’t have woman leader…What happened to the men folks from your community?
All wearing burka I bet!
Lmao!!
PS you write like a political b*llshitter. Have you considered politics as a short-lived career? Leaflet on its way!
