Shows you how informed I am…I hadn’t realised that our dear Mayor has found time to start a new blog. It’s here. I’ll also add it to my blog roll; let’s see if Lutfur reciprocates… .
Interestingly, he’s writing it on a WordPress site, just as this one is (although his looks far neater; he clearly has an artistic eye, just like one of his predecessors as council leader, Denise Jones).
I have to say though, having listened to Lutfur countless times, the writing on his blog doesn’t sound like him. I wonder who’s penning for him.
Any guesses?
Well by the looks of it I think we can rule out Deputy Mayor Ohid and Cllr Shafiqual Haque. My money is on Cllr Oliur, something to keep him out the way. It’s a very sharp blog perhaps you should tart TBJ up a bit ted?
Done….
nope. it will be a (tax) paid lackey.
Interesting, thanks for the link Ted.
Interesting also that commenting is not possible on the blog. I wonder what he is afraid of – opinions, or people telling him the truth?
Just seen the photo that’s part of the new look … flip me, that’s good to be a photoshop! Red Ken (in a blue tie), Josh Peck and numerous others, all waving Dennington’s finest with sombre looks on their faces … if it’s not a ‘shop then it’s a bad joke.
(And would someone tell the Libyan rebels that Cnl.M.Gadaffi seems to be present, in the background … )
he’s the blooming mayor – of course commenting isn’t possible!
anyway, you can give him feedback on twitter – @mayorlutfur
and ted, this has gotta be the most classic rip off of his template
aye.
Imitation and all that….
Yes, lovin the new look, but the picture I’m not so sure about.
Hmm, not even a courteous nod for drawing your attention to his blog, Ted?
Nod.
Thank you.
Whoever is writing it, and it certainly isn’t him, should do more research before penning an article praising, even mentioning, Bob Lambert. Lambert is a paid hack of Islamic extremists and has been exposed here. http://www.hurryupharry.org/2009/10/28/bob-lambert–just-fancy-that/. He also had to climb down over something that I will research and post about later.
Just remembered what it was. Lambert’s Muslim Research whatever at Exeter University published a report which had a chapter rubbishing Lutfur’s critics and puffing the man up. It was a complete pack of lies, they said the person writing it wanted to remain anonymous.
When they were threatened with legal action and academic embarrassment, the report was reissued without the chapter. Lambert has no credibility whatsoever and whoever wrote the article for Lutfur has made a major blunder.
Both Ted and Andrew Gilligan have done articles on this fiasco on their blogs.
Interesting picture….
Some observation-
-Ken doesnt look to pleased to be with the local Labour leadership
-Josh Peck trying to ‘milk’ the moments with Ken to please him
-I can see the ‘real’ leader of the TH Labour party and Josh’s mentor Micheal Keith on the left
-And of course I can see the real Leader, Mayor fo Tower Hamlets in the picture (back, left)
Well done Ted. They say a picture painst a thousand words and too right here
I expect Ken is looking glum because his campaign for next May is a shambles. Local Labour parties are so embarrassed by all of the scandals starting with Jasper and going through his support for Quadari and Lutfur that he can’t get anyone to turn out to canvass for him.
Expect a few more scandals that are bubbling under to erupt before the Mayoral election to completely sink him. You would have thought that even some of the more extreme left and anti Israeli elements in the Labour Party would have shown their support but it looks, in London anyway, that endorsements are only coming from Lutfur and the IFE crowd.
Yay – was surprised but pleased to see that my comments on the last post were taken up and led to Konnu highlighting the blog (which I knew nothing about).
Looks like it’s written by TH press office probably – the one about the GCSE results is the classic local authority template press announcement that every borough and council puts out annually.
But if, as Konnu said in response to the last blog post, the blogs on Labour Futures were taken from the Mayor’s blog then TH press officers should not have been involved as it would surely break the rules on political impartiality?
